In addition to the child sponsorship program, there are a number of campaigns supported by donors with special interests:
Bulembu Babies consists of six homes, five of which are toddler homes (2-4 years), and one baby home (0-2 years). There are thirty staff members on duty at a time among the six homes, rotating with day/night shifts for 24 hour care. In each toddler home, there is an average of 6-8 children, and the baby home is designated for 20 babies. The Bulembu Babies homes provide unconditional love and safety for these precious little children.
The Tenors Fans for Bulembu's Children is a community of a group of fans of The Tenors who are helping to raise funds for the Christian Academy in Bulembu and the Merit Shop in Bulembu. They raise funds to help defray some of the costs incurred by Bulembu's Christian Academy. Since there is no government subsidy to the schools in Swaziland, the only way the Bulembu Christian Academy is funded is through donations and child sponsorships.
The children of Bulembu work on a merit system receiving points for good behavior and scholarship. At the end of each semester, the children can trade their points for items in the Merit Shop. Tenors Fans for Bulembu's Children also help raise funds to help keep the Merit shop fully stocked. The children are ALWAYS in need of items to shop.
Tanya’s Kids was founded when Tanya Condello and Jean Lederer traveled to Bulembu in 2007 where they met 10 bright, young Swazi students. They committed, with the help of donors, to help these students receive a Christian education at Bulembu Christian Academy (BCA). It is the goal of "Tanya's Kids" to support these children through their years at BCA in the hope the students will use what they have learned to improve their lives and the lives of others.
As long as they continue to live in Bulembu, attend BCA and do their assignments “Tanya’s Kids” will continue to support them.
