Dear Friends of the Ministry,

For over 87 years, God has been using the staff and volunteers at Camp Gilead to make a difference in the lives of children.  Whether it is in summer camps, after school Bible clubs, or our mailed-to-home Bible lessons, we seek to increase Biblical literacy and to encourage a Biblical world view. We do this by focusing on our 3 C’s mission strategy: Camps, Clubs and Correspondence Lessons.

Summer camp is always a fun place to be; but big things happen here.  When children grasp truth, they are more prepared to engage the world around them. They become burdened for those who still do not know Christ as Savior, they desire to know Him better, and they want to experience life as God designed it.

In Clubs we have been focusing on the character traits of those God uses. Throughout Scripture we see that it is God who prepares man for the work He has planned for him to do.  We consider the traps that harmed some of the “heroes of the faith” and how can we avoid those traps.

Our Bible Lessons Program is sometimes overlooked but it allows us ongoing correspondence with children all over the United States. The Bible lessons are sent to their home where they engage in Bible study that draws them to deeper faith and encourages them to actively live each day for God’s glory.  Occasionally, we have the opportunity to correspond with children and/or their parents who were not believers when they started the lessons; but God in His grace revealed Himself to them as they worked through the lessons.

We are mindful that these faith-based programs would not be possible without your help. We truly appreciate your support and covet your prayers. Will you help us to continue reaching children with life-changing truth by giving a special gift to scholarship children for camp this summer?

Gratefully yours,

Christopher Andreu

Camp Gilead exists to glorify God by creating an atmosphere for individuals to evaluate their relationship with Christ and be challenged to make decisions resulting in changed lives.
