Ben grew up serving with his family at a sister CBM camp in South Alabama, Camp Victory. It had always been on his heart to go back into ministry at a CBM camp.
Kayla had been involved as a CIT (counselor in training) and a summer camp counselor at two different CBM camps, Camp New Life and Camp Grace. After her summer as a full time counselor at Camp Grace, she realized she had a passion for the camping ministry and hoped to be involved in it full time one day.
We have always sought the Lord's direction in our lives and because of our interest in camp ministry, we have thought about the camping ministry and visited several camp over the past 6 years; but God made it clear it wasn’t the right time and those weren't the right places for us to serve. God has now directed us and opened the door for us to serve at Camp Gilead.
We are both very excited to see how the Lord will use us to serve Him here. Your prayers are coveted and any support is greatly appreciated.
