The Project Northmoor Fund
Servant Foundation d/b/a The Signatry, an organization exempt from tax under United States law (“The Signatry”), sponsors a donor advised fund named The Project Northmoor Fund (the “Fund”). The Signatry supports the work of Project Northmoor and is working together with Project Northmoor to increase appreciation for J.R.R. Tolkien’s life and faith.
The initial advisor to the Fund is Brian Boyd, but other advisors might be added at any time. Any advisor to the Fund has the right to recommend grants from the Fund. The Signatry’s management makes the ultimate decisions on grants made from the Fund. The Signatry’s decision will strongly consider advisor recommendations and will be dependent on the intended use of the granted amount and whether the grant would be in compliance with applicable U.S. law and The Signatry’s charitable purposes. Because Project Northmoor is not currently eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions in the United States, additional steps will be required before a grant is made from the Fund to support Project Northmoor. The Signatry, in its own discretion, may choose to accomplish this by granting to another organization which will do the diligence necessary to grant to foreign charities such as Project Northmoor Limited. As is the case with The Signatry, any organization to which The Signatry sends a grant from the Fund will have full and exclusive control and discretion over the granted assets. Advisors to the Fund will have access to information about the donors who have contributed to the Fund, such as names, addresses, and contribution amounts.
